Who we are
LHEVIA is an aerospace company based in Roma, Italia, developing lighter-than-air stratospheric platforms with hybrid propulsion for connectivity and Earth observation. For anything in this policy, LHEVIA is the data controller for the personal information described below. You can reach us at hello@lhevia.com.
What we collect
This is a pre-launch website. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to give us:
- Waitlist signups — your email address, the date and time you gave consent, and which part of the site you signed up from.
We do not run third-party analytics or advertising, we do not build visitor profiles, and we do not collect more than the above.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. If you respond to the cookie notice, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the notice does not reappear — this stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Why we may use your information
We use your waitlist email only to notify you about our launch and closely related company updates. Under the GDPR, our lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you give when you submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw it at any time — see Your rights below — and every message we send will include a way to unsubscribe.
Who has access
Your information is handled by LHEVIA. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate the waitlist and send email on our behalf, under agreements that require them to protect it. We never sell your personal information. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose above — whichever comes first. Where the law requires, we retain a minimal record of your consent as proof that it was given.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@lhevia.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
How we protect it
We limit access to your information, transmit it over encrypted connections, and store it on access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the limited data we hold.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and revise the date above. Significant changes affecting waitlist subscribers will be communicated by email.
